Castellón is the perfect golfing
destination, not only for the number of
courses (three), which could be increased
over the next few years, but also for its
excellent golf facilities and privileged
locations planned by famous golf designers
and champions, with their good infrastructures
and weather.
The most important
is Panorámica Golf and Country
Club, one of the most attractive golf
courses in Europe, designed by Bernhard
Langer.
With 18 holes, the course is located in
the heart of the luxurious Panorámica
Golf residential complex, in Sant Jordi.
The Mediterranean Country Club is also
situated inside a magnificent estate in
Borriol. The round (18 holes) is varied
and amusing, and was designed by Ramón
Espinosa.
Sergio García, “el Niño”,
practiced golf here before becoming part
of the golf elite of the world.
Finally, the
Costa de Azahar Club is located in a natural
area near Pinar de Castellón beach.
Owned by the town hall, the course has
9 holes and has been designed by Ángel
Pérez de Leza.

promising future
In a matter of years, the sport of golf
will be boosted thanks to the construction
of new facilities: Benicàssim
Golf, Doña Blanca Golf in Torreblanca
and other projects in Burriana, Peñíscola
and Alcalà de Xivert. |
